Kostantakis Cave Winery

At the base of the hill, beneath the guestrooms, large natural volcanic caves have been repurposed in to Kostantakis Winery, a wine - making facility.

Continuing the long family tradition of wine making, the winery was officially opened in 2012 and began to bottle the first Melian wines, with the goal of reviving the local vineyard which was neglected since the 1980's.

Our uniquely flavored wines of Assyrtiko, Monemvasia Malagousia, Mavrotragano, Aidani, Mandilaria, Savatiano and Roditis can be tasted in our subterranean winery.
